Christopher
J. Hart, MD, FACS is a native of Atlanta and has been a practicing surgeon
in the Atlanta area since 1997. After graduating from Vanderbilt University, he
attended medical school at the University of Alabama - Birmingham. Dr. Hart
completed his surgical residency at the world famous Mayo Clinic in Rochester,
Minnesota. He serves as Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery at the Emory
University School of Medicine and was a founding member of their bariatric
program. Dr. Hart is a Diplomate of the National Board of Medical Examiners, is
Board Certified by the American Board of Surgery, and is a Fellow of the
American College of Surgeons and the Southeastern Surgical Congress. Dr. Hart
is a member of many medical and surgical societies, including the American
Society for Bariatric Surgery, the Society of American Gastrointestinal
Endoscopic Surgeons, and the Society for Surgery of the Alimentary Tract.
William
H. Johnson, MD attended medical school at the Medical University of South
Carolina and completed his general surgery residency at the University of
Florida. He then completed a fellowship at Duke University in minimally
invasive surgery, specializing in a variety of advanced laparoscopic procedures
on the upper GI tract, adrenal glands, colon, and pancreas. Dr. Johnson is
certified through the National Board of Medical Examiners and Federation of
State Medical Boards, and is Board Certified by the American Board of Surgery.
He is a member of many national medical and surgical societies including the
American Society of Bariatric Surgery, the Society of American Gastrointestinal
Endoscopic Surgeons, the American College of Surgeons, and the American Medical
Association.
